Creating a Deal Header

The Deal Header is the main page of a deal. The Header provides a summary of the deal's vital information, including Deal identification information, your Vendor Information, Allowance Types for the deal, and the details of the Promotion itself.

1. At the top of the Dashboard page, click Create Deal.

2. Enter information in the required fields in the top section of the Deal Header (marked with an asterisk).

● The Deal Description - This should include specific descriptors (i.e. Dates, Holiday, Pricing, etc.) to differentiate your deal from others in DealCentral.

● The Deal Type

● The Deal Owner

Note: The Category field will auto-populate when a Deal Owner has been selected.

● The Banner (select Giant Eagle)

● Select the Expiration Notification check box to have notification sent when the deal expires.

3. Enter information in the required fields (and any other available information) in the following sections:

Vendor Information

Allowance Types

Promotion Details

4. Click Save to save your progress and continue creating the deal.

Editing an Existing Deal Header

You can modify or add information to a Deal Header before you have Submitted it, or if it has been Modified and returned to you for approval..

1. At the top of the Header page, click Edit.

2. Update the information in any of the active fields.

3. When you have finished editing the deal, click Save to save your changes or Cancel to discard them.
