Adding Items to a Deal

1. On the Contents menu, click Items.

2. Click Search Items to search for the items that you want to add to the deal.

3. Enter one or more search terms in the search fields, and then click Search.

Note: If you are unsure of the exact wording of an Item Description, use a wild card (%) to represent one or more characters in the search term. For more on using wild cards, see Searching in DealCentral.

4. In the search results, select the check box for the item or items you want to add to the deal, and then click Add Selected Items to Deal.

If a selected item is in a Family, you are given the option to select other items in the product family.

5. Click Add and Continue to add selected families to the deal,

    OR

    Deselect the check box for the family and click Add and Continue to add only the selected item to the deal (without the family).

Note: Clicking Cancel will return you to the search results without adding any items to the deal.

 

1. Click the Family radio button.

2. On the Family drop-down list, select the family of items to display in the Items Grid. The grid will only display the items in the selected family.

3. To remove the filter from the list, click Reset.

Note: The Vendor filter field applies only to DSD items.

1. Select the check box for the item or items to be removed from the deal.

2. On the Selected Items drop-down list, select Delete.

3. Click Go. The item is removed from the deal.
