Validating a Deal

After you have completed entering the information for your deal (Deal Header, Items, Item Information, Notes, and Attachments), you must validate the deal before it can be submitted for approval. The Validation process will check your deal for any errors or warnings.

1. In the Actions menu, click Validate Deal. DealCentral will check the deal for errors.

2. On the list of errors and warnings, click the View link in the Reference column to go directly to the location of the problem to take corrective action.

3. After correcting an error or warning, click Save to update the deal.

4. In the Actions menu, click Validate Deal to check the updated deal for additional errors or warnings.
