Copying a Deal

The Copy Deal function allows you to create a new deal based on existing deal data within DealCentral. This will save you time when creating deals that you use on a regular basis.

1. When viewing a deal, on the Actions menu, click Copy Deal.

2. If necessary, modify the Deal Description and Deal Type.

3. Enter Promo Retail Start/End and Ad Start/End dates for the new deal.

4. Select Allowance types for the new deal and, if necessary, enter dates for the allowances.

5. If you do not want to copy the Attachments from the original deal, deselect the Copy Attachments check box.

6. Click Copy. DealCentral displays the Header for the new deal.

The copied deal is assigned a new Deal ID number and a Note including the Deal ID and Description of the original deal.
